About Us
Kitty and Puppy Haven, founded in 2000, is a pro-life sanctuary dedicated to rescuing neglected, abused, and abandoned animals, primarily sourced from veterinary practices, low-income areas, other welfare organizations in townships and squatter-camps, and emergency rescues. Our mission goes beyond rescue and rehabilitation; we prioritize educating the community on proper animal care.
We are committed to never euthanizing animals that can be healed and lead healthy, pain-free, and happy lives. Given the disadvantaged backgrounds of most animals we rescue, extensive veterinary care is often required. Each animal also receives standard health care, including vaccinations, de-worming, flea control, and sterilization. Our monthly veterinary expenses average between R40,000 and R50,000.

Services we provide
Virtual Adoptions: Choose a resident animal, pay a sponsorship fee, and we'll display a plaque in your honor. No pet ownership responsibilities. Your sponsorship supports animal care.
Run Sponsorship: Sponsor a housing run for waiting animals. Your name or logo goes on a plaque. Support us and gain visibility.
