About Us

Blue Hills Veterinary Hospital was established in the 1980s by the late Dr. Rick Massey. We practice both small animal and equine veterinary medicine and surgery. Dr. Rogers, our equine veterinarian, joined the practice in 1992, and Dr. Tim Hepplestone, a small animal veterinarian, joined in 1998, and both now own the practice together with Dr. Lynsey, who became a partner in 2018. Our veterinary team includes Dr. Samantha Phillips and Dr. Morag Evans, who are also small animal practitioners. All of our vets have special interests in various areas of veterinary medicine. Our veterinarians are supported by a strong and capable nursing team as well experienced animal assistants. We hope our website is informative and provides some insight into the daily care of your beloved pet. We would love to hear from you and welcome any suggestions regarding information that you would like to see on our site.
