Dogtown SA: Changing Lives- Nestled in the Hennops mountains, Dogtown SA is a sanctuary for dogs in need. Our dedicated team provides individual care to dogs waiting for their forever homes.
Rescue Dogs: Hopeful, Not Broken- Many dogs at Dogtown SA are seeking second chances, not brokenness, and deserve loving homes.
Rob’s Retreat: Rehabilitation- For dogs facing challenges, our team at Rob’s Retreat offers specialized care to help them lead happy lives.
Retirement Village for Seniors- We’re creating a safe place for mature dogs with special needs.

We are open to the public everyday (weekends included) between 09:00 – 12:30 and again from 13:30 – 15:00.

At Dogtown, there's a role for everyone.
Pooch Parade: Become a part of the Pooch Parade and help us walk the 150 dogs in our care.
Snuggles Buggles: The Snuggle Buggles are those that want to spend quality time with our furkids.
Paint Saints: The Paint Saints who keep the dog houses painted and in one piece.
Clean Team: Join the Clean Team, help keep our containers and dog houses clean and tidy.
Skills: You can volunteer your Skills from any field to help a part of Dogtown.
Event Team: Join our Event Team to help us spread the word about Dogtown and raise funds.

House A Hound
Goal: R150 000.00- Help us replace our wooden wendy houses for our dogs
Solar Borehole Pump
Goal: R87 000.00- Help us SAVE R10000 a month by getting our borehole reinstated
Pet Food Pantry: More and more families are struggling to make ends meet. Please help us keep pets and their families together
Pay for My Stay: Help the Dogtown Rescue team to go out there and rescue abandoned dogs today.
